Steel Rolex bracelets history :

  1. Oyster riveted bracelets (1960 - 1978): the riveted bracelet production started in the early 1960s and has been stopped in the 1970s in Europe and around 1978 in the US market,
  2. Folded bracelets, Oyster and Jubilee (1968 - 1976): folded bracelets were introduced in 1968 and were produced until 1976
  3. Solid Bracelets Oyster et Jubilee (1976-2010): solid bracelet with empty links were introduced around 1976
  4. Solid-end-link bracelets, Oyster and Jubilee  (1983-today): Rolex bracelets with solid-end-links appeared on the Sea-Dweller 16660 in 1983 (a very rare watch). But we will have to wait until 1999 to see them arrive on the famous Rolex Submariner and the other models like : Deap Sea, Datejust, Date, GMT, Air King... On gold bracelet, as the Rolex President, solid-end-links were introduced earlier around 1970
